Can you own an aesthetics practice in your state?

In many states an RN cannot own the clinical entity for medical aesthetics, and where that is true the honest answer is no rather than a workaround. Where it is possible it requires physician ownership or supervision with written delegation, and state regulators do inspect and cite for unlawful practice of medicine. Questions nurses ask about an aesthetics practice.

In some states yes with supervision, in others no. We will tell you which before you pay us anything, and if the answer is no we will say so rather than sell you a structure that does not hold.

Plenty are doing it wrong. Regulators inspect and cite for unlawful practice of medicine, and the fact that a competitor has not been caught yet is not a structure.

Because in a corporate practice of medicine state a plain LLC cannot own a medical practice. Getting this wrong is expensive to unwind and can put your licence at issue.
